  1. Funny thing just happened. After about a total time of 10 hours spent foraging the forum and trouble shooting over the past days and finally turning to a forum post myself. I tried one more thing for the shits and giggles. I thought hmmm the problem lies with the graphic rendering in some shape or form for some reason. I have fixed it! I turned off frame generation for GTA V via the NVDIA App and now it finally works. RPH can´t deal with it. It would be Interesting to see if other users with modern hardware (I think RTX 40+ Series right?) can reproduce it. If so might be worth adding to known Issues. TBH dont really need framegen for this game with that card, I just have it on by default for most games cause its nice.
  2. Hello there. After a long time I wanted to play LSPDFR again. But i ran into some troubles and spent hours of troubleshooting and foraging through the Forum and Reddit but for the love of god I can´t figure it out. Thank god for thousands of players with no Issues, I hate it that I have some sort of weird case that hinders me from enjoying the mod to its fullest extend. The Issue presents itself as follows. If I hook GTA from Startup it either crashes to desktop once the Rockstar Logo shows up or freezes to Black screen, If I hook it once im already loaded in it instantly crashes. My Specs: CPU: 7800x3d GPU: RTX 5080 RAM: 64GB CL30 6000Mhz Storage: Nvme drive Resolution 4k Graphic settings: Maxed out The investigation and troubleshooting I have done: A few Basics GTA V on its own (not hooking) runs fine. If I check the box to not plug into directX it works fine but with its own issues: Everything technically works, but no console - big oof and I have to play with a controller since most keybinds dont work with keyboard but for some reason it works with a controller. (Dont wanna play with controller since I need a lot of Keybindings) By now I have added extra Plugins and other Mods - they are not the issue, they work, the Problem happened with a clean install of GTA, RPH and LSPDFR already More Basics GPU Driver is up to date Windows is up to date DirectX is up to date C++ is up to date Netframework (whatever) is up to date GTA V folder as well as RPH is set on the exception List of the Windows Defender I have given the GTA Folder all the Permissions the read write etc. for all users Other Stuff from the Forums I have tried so far with no effect: I tried removing certain files (readded them as there was no effect) Turned off Nvidia Overlay and Steam Overlay added ScriptHookV, ScriptHookVDotNet, RageNativeUI (I think thats what it was called) Reinstalled GTA, LSPDFR, RPH multiple times (which was a pain as german internet sucks ass 11/MBs) Tried RPH force all the different Dx plus Windowed Mode Tried Launching in safe mode Most likely forgot bunch of stuff I tried...been few long days So far from my Investigation and Deducting it has something to do with DirectX then as once I have RPH not hook it, everything works fine? I do not know how to read crash reports etc, maybe its an easy fix for a pro looking at it soooo - there ya go: nvm only the log, cant post the rcr here... I´d appreciate any Help very much! Huge thanks in advance! If you need anything else for helping me, tell me! PS: To all the assholes who had a very familiar sounding if not the same issue over the years and posted "Hey, I fixed it" in the forums without telling how - fuck you! why even bother xD RagePluginHook.log
