Police Car Addition

Anyone know of a mod currently or can anyone make a mod that allows you to use a PA Speaker in the Police Car when involved in a vehicle chase. example: "LSPD Pull over" or "LSPD Pull the car over now" or maybe even if you stop a suspect and you want them to exit the car by announcing it over a PA system.. I think I if I remember correctly that it's in the game from playing just GTAV without lspdfr.. I have heard them shouting commands over a PA system when I was being chased.. Just curious if anyone knows a mod that has this already or if anyone can do this..

Thanks for the responses. I will try out what you guys said to do.. honestly never knew that was already in LSPDFR. That is AWESOME by the way!

You can already do this in LSPDFR. You have to be close enough to the vehicle you are chasing, then press the same key you use to initiate a traffic stop.

When you say the same key used to initiate the stop, are you saying whatever key I press to get the red blip to show up and it says you have signaled the driver to stop? That key correct? I press A for that, but if I press A again it just cancels the stop and I was right up on their bumper.

Yes, that key, but only when you are in pursuit. If you want to use the megahorn on a traffic stop, you can honk the horn to make them move to a new spot - sometimes you will also say something.

okay thanks so much for clarifying that for me.. So I will try to do that during a chase and not simply pulling people over.. That makes sense.. again Thanks for your help...appreciate it.

Willpv23.. Does the pursuit have to be a callout pursuit? I had a car take off on me when I attempted to initiate a conversation with the driver, does that count as a pursuit if its a non callout pursuit? Because I pressed my initiate stop button and nothing came out speech wise.. Also I failed to mention that I downloaded a siren sound modification, will that have any impact on the pull over speech? I promise this is my last message on this topic tonight.. I am to tired and my wife is giving me the look that I should go to bed

I'm not sure...it might depend on what police officer you play as. Or maybe one of my plugins allows for the megaphone? I don't remember reading it in the description for any of them, though.

Yes, that counts at least in my game. The tricky part is that sometimes your cop says nothing, again, at least in my game. Sometimes you have to get really close to the car you pursue and hit the Stop button several times...

hmm okay I will keep trying at it.. I installed a siren mod to change the sound of the sirens and I thought maybe I messed up by doing that, but maybe it's just like you said.. I will just keep at it.. I just enjoy all the realism... The game drives my wife nuts because if I am in a chase and I take a turn the wrong way or I smack into another car. I will use my sentence enhancers(vulgarity) out loud and she calls my name and just stares at me. Guess I am louder than I know, but hard to tell when I have a headset on and I can't hear much outside the game ...thanks for the advice...I will keep at it..

Okay, so I have an update.. I did all the suggested things above and still could not get PA speech from police car, but just for hell of it I switched from LSPD to a SAHP officer and even switched from the interceptor and buffalo police cars to a unmarked cruiser.. Went out on a pursuit and within minutes I was getting speech from the PA Speaker and I didn't even have to be very close to the suspects car.

The only thing that I don't know yet is, if it is because I switched officer type or vehicle type or both.. either way I am happy it works.. Just be a bummer if its the police type as the reason.. I like playing the LSPD more than the highway patrol.. If it turns out to just be the car type only, I can live with using the unmarked car..I guess I will test it out later and come back and give an update so if anyone else runs into this problem they will know possibly why...thanks again for all the help. :woot:

Quick update: I tried using LSPD officer in the unmarked cruiser and during a pursuit was unable to use PA speech. Switched to the SAHP officer and unmarked cruiser and during a pursuit was able to use and hear PA speech. I really don't know what to make of it, kind of a bummer if I have to play SAHP just to use that feature. Be nice if PA could be used for all police types and police vehicle types...Maybe someone will create a PA mod with more speech options,, that would be cool.. Well back to catching bad guys and gals.. some of these females are pretty ruthless on a few of these callouts..otherwise tons of fun.. I hope that maybe rockstar with partner with the LSPDFR dev team for GTAVI.. People love this mod.. I know I do
