Check the speed of cars

Hey guys,

i saw many videos of LSPDFR on Youtube and some Lets Player were checking the speed of cars. Is there a mod that can do that, or is it already in the normal LSPDFR mod included?

I would love to use a speed radar of some sort, but until its included in the LSPDFR API I won't, I don't like having two sets of info on the same perp/vehicle.

As of right now, there isn't a way(that I know of) to get the vehicle's information, there's only a way to get a ped's information. Hopefully this is a planned feature for the API. As soon as its possible, I'll update SpeedRadar to use LSPDFR's database.

Oh yeah, that's right. FinKone also wants to do that with his license plate checker and he can only get ped info as of now, not vehicle flags/info yet, which is what your Speed Radar plugin needs. I hope it's possible to retrieve vehicle information real soon!

Yeah, I don't like to have 2 sets of information either but since I was lucky enough to never catch a flagged vehicle on Speed Radar mod, I keep using it. And I've monitored a lot of cars since my favourite thing is to be a SAHP officer :P

FinkOne's newest PoliceRadio is pulling vehicle info from the LSPDFR database and returns the same registered owner... so it's definitely possible. I have noticed his PoliceRadio will sometimes show a wanted flag where LSPDFR does not, but assume it's a WIP.

I guess that's what you guys are referring to though, is the fact that the vehicle flags still aren't exactly matching, so nevermind! Going back to sleep now.

LOL yeah man, that's what we are referring to xD

FinKone's PoliceRadio pulls the info of the ped (owner and/or driver) and as he said, not always the owner is the driver (can be the onwer's friend driving, whatsoever).

All we missing regarding info from the API is indeed vehicle information (flags) such as "stolen vehicle", etc. Which is a WIP in both PoliceRadio and Speed Radar (at least since when it becomes possible to retrieve vehicle information).

Sadly the Speed Radar Mod does´t work for me, i put the files in the root folder of gta but when i´m ingame in my policecar and i press f5 nothing hapened.

You put them in the \plugins folder not in the root of GTA5.

When i put the files in the plugins folder, the game chrashes when i press shift on duty.
