Suspects/Peds take a few headshots to die

Featured Replies

Hi, so I've downloaded LSPDFR a few times now to see if this is a problem with my installation, or if there is something I'm not seeing, but it takes so much longer to kill anybody than it does to kill myself.

Say I'll be doing a chase and there's a van in front of me, I'm shooting the guy sat in the back who's shooting at me and I've got him in the head about 3 times so far so you'd assume he's dead but I've yet to actually kill someone in a pursuit because for some reason I'll always die first. It's almost as if my health is constantly on 25% whereas the suspect has some kind of constant health boost.

So I tried to see if it was just suspects, but even peds on the street won't die if I shoot them in the head. It takes 3, sometimes 5 headshots for them to die, they just fall to the floor and stand back up but for me it's like, 'oh you got shot in the leg? That's cool, don't get shot again or else you're going to die' so I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing here but it seems like there's a problem with the health in the mod?

This is intentional to prevent the taser from killing the suspect instantly. Unfortunately, until a workaround is found, we're stuck with it.

At least I know it's not just me and they're trying to fix it, thank-you anyway!!
