I "finished" converting that F-350 and I wanted to exprot it as a .wft file but in the log bar it says:

Missing shader configuration for shader "gta_vehicle_ford_generic_mesh" in material "ford_generic_mesh". Defaulting to "gta_default".

Missing shader configuration for shader "gta_vehicle_interior_mesh" in material "interior_mesh". Defaulting to "gta_default".

Missing shader configuration for shader "gta_vehicle_f350_lights_glass_lightsemissive" in material "f350_lights_glass_lightsemissive". Defaulting to "gta_default".

Missing shader configuration for shader "gta_vehicle_f350_badges" in material "f350_badges". Defaulting to "gta_default".

Translation: How do I do that... I never had to before - Please write in english next time, thanks

I guess you should write in english, maybe somebody else also has that problem and needs help.

You actually did it already but you need to remove the underline, for example "gta_vehicle_ford_generic_mesh" should be "gta_vehicle_ford_generic mesh". "rim" doesn't exist btw, should be "tire".

Okay now this appears

Using texture "stuff" which doesn't suit settings for shader "gta_vehicle_mesh".

Please refain as much as possible from using other languages than English on the board, you are effectively eliminating anyone that doesn't understand German.

Yeah sorry it wont happen again.

Okay now this appears

The materials aren't set up correctly. I can't tell you how each material has to be set up, just check it in any game's default model, most just need a dirtmap, sometimes a normal and a specmap.

Okay I will try it

A default setup for a material is as follows:

Say for Eg. you have a glass material for your windows, the first thing you do is give it a name such as:

"Windows" (without inverted commas) [There can be no spaces in your name]

Next you need to consider which shader to use, in this case I will use "vehglass", so then you make a space after your material name as we already have followed by a space and the shader name:

"Windows vehglass"

Now your material name is valid.

Next you need to setup your textures, the basic layout is as follows:

1. yourtexturename - UV1 Modulate

2. dirtmap - UV2 Multiply Add

3. specularmap - UV1 Specular & Multiply Add

Now you're done, if you had a metal material then the layout would differ, a good example would be:

"vehiclemetal mesh" (mesh is used for metal shading and in most cases requires a bump map (The purple 3d textures).)

Your layout:

1. yourtexturename - UV1 Modulate

2. dirtmap - UV2 Multiply Add

3. bumpmap texture - UV1 bump map

4. specularmap - UV1 Specular & Multiply Add

There is a photoshop filter available for bump maps if required or you can simply use a small purple texture.

Okay the textures work now the only bug left is that the wheels dont spin they rorate around the car itself EXAMPLE: Imagine the car is the sun and the tires rotate around the sun (car) like planets

NEED HELP

Go to Display->Local Axis->Center to object & click on the wheel.

Ok i

Okay worked but now the wheels are turned the wrong way the rim shows to the car not away from it
