But that doesn't matter anymore because...I am not quite sure what happened.

In my desperation, I rebooted my Computer after trying out your suggestions and installing LSPDFR from the start, because turning it off and on again has never done any harm.
And voilà: it works.

Thank you guys so much for your help! I just love this community!
Now I can still play some more before going to bed, knowing that today was a good day .:wink:

Glad you got it working, if you are ever worried about modified files inside any folders in your directory you can always verify the integrity of the game's cache by right clicking it in steam and click properties then go to the local files tab, this cleans the game from any modified files to all of the original if you are ever unsure. Enjoy!
