ok SSD is an solid state drive

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid-state_drive

And now the good news, I found a work around and just played half hour of newest mod and all is good...

I had to run the game in Vista SP2 and have to use xlive.dll as gamelive is really goofed up for me...

Is f8 to toggle call out?

The HDD type shouldn't matter at all for any application/game.

And yes F8 in the latest is the callout's toggle I believe the changelog said.

Could it be that 1) you arent running in admin mode? or 2) You need xlive? could that be a possibility? or maybe 3) you didnt bother to update your game
