LSPDFR and the OpenIV Mods Folder

Featured Replies

I am currently doing the Mods folder routine (http://openiv.com/?p=1132) and wondered if I can LSPDFR and Ragehook (when they work) into the mods folder rather than the GTAV main folder?

Or has LSPDFR been scripted to only work when it and it's folders are located in the Main folder?

As far as I know is that everything should be in your main folder, I don't think it works in the mods folder, I do have a mods folder because of the setup for OpenIV, but I don't really use it.

Did I help? If I did, you would help me if you would help that like button :)

Yeah I set my mods folder up with openiv too. Before the recent patch I had 2 folders one with modded GTA and the one without but it was a pain to keep renaming it etc so decided to remove it and try the mods folder routine.

As I am reinstalling all my mods again I thought I would check to make sure before getting issues.

When you go online do you just remove the ScriptHookV.dll?

only file modifications go into the mods folder. Scripts and Plugins go into the main directory. When you want to play online, simply go into your OpenIV > Tools > ASI Manager and disable both, then remove ScriptHookV and you're good to go.

Due to the graphic nature of this post, reader discretion is advised.

Ok thanks.

I have an openiv question - do you know how I can get support on it as I can't post n the website and no one is answering on twitter?

Despite having OpenIV.asi in the GTA Main Directory it is still telling me to install it, if I go to tools > asi manager it says it's installed...or is it meant to be installed in the mods folder?

You could try posting on the GTAForums thread, the creator of the mod responds there pretty often.

Also, you could try this: In OpenIV, go to Tools -> Options and click the "Game" tab. Make sure that the "GTA V directory" field is the directory that contains GTA5.exe and all the x64a/x64b/etc. rpfs are in that folder. If it's the wrong directory, then that could explain why it doesn't think it's properly installed yet.

Yeah I guess it could be that, I will change it asap.

Thanks.
