They "break" modding for what, a day? You act like it's the end of the whole modding scene. They're just trying to improve some performance issues caused by the last update. If you really can't wait for the Devs to update the mod, then you should've made a backup.

R* has... quite obviously implemented yet another "mod breaker" code line in their things that prevents Rage hook from working properly.
I should've known better than to let that god damn update go thru, now I can't play. -_-

Ah, okay. I just tested out the new update, it really did make the performance better by a lot though, that is one thing to look forward to, lol.

Yeah, if it improved performance then great lol I actually didn't feel any issues with IGG2 so I hope this patch didn't screw things up for me instead xD

You could block the updates with a firewall, or just make a backup of 3 files; GTAVLauncher.exe, GTA5.exe, and the Update.rpf file.

I have a backup of the previous version, and I'd post it somewheres... but I'm not willing to let my dropbox be overwhelmed, and every other file share site I know of is shady or has ridiculous download quotas.

Well, Scripthook was just updated. I had the site up and just now reloaded it and the new version is up. That was freaking quick LOL.

UPDATE: Scripthook is working but Ragehook is still broken. There's definitely an improvement on performance, I noticed it with only a couple mins of regular gameplay. Looks like the update was meant to fix the stuttering issues. Hopefully Rage will update fairly quickly.

We know that, the update today broke it. Scripthook was just updated a few minutes ago but Ragehook hasn't been updated yet. So no LSPDFR yet unless you made a backup and can roll back.

If I'm not mistaken, you only have to back up 3 or 4 specific files to do a rollback. Just do a bit of looking around and you should find plenty of info on how to do it, especially after the last major update screwed everything up as badly as it did. Personally I haven't bothered with backups since, aside from the last major patch, the teams are pretty good about updating things quickly.

Great job guys,  But ever since i've updated to 0.2a my ragehook crashes, i used the one that came with 0.2a. any ideas i am using steam version of the game

RGSC (disc owners) have it worse, they get their crap overwritten on every game launch or so I hear. Steam is easy to fool once you overwrite the files.
