Hi guys,

Trying to install and whenever I do the game crashes at the point it gets to the brothers Cellic. Crashes as in returns to desktop with no error etc...

I would really appreciate any help if you could spare the time. I have followed the very good sticky post and tried everything on there including reloading everything countless times. The game runs prior to the mod being installed.

    Did you save your game whilst on duty?

    Are you running the game as a administrator?

    Very sorry for the delay in replying, I had to go out.

    Yes - The game is run as admin

    No - the game has never been saved, its a fresh install of GTA4 and a fresh install of LCPD.

    When I do s fresh install of GTA4 it will start the cut scene fine but once its had FR installed it crashes as mentioned above. Its a tough one to sort out!! :)

    Say, have you got any other mods installed recently?

    Nothing at all...this is all brand new. Only bought GTA4 because of the youtube FR videos. No other mods...all brand new installs.

    Tried the above thanks guys. I'm going to do another reinstall of GTA4...try playing the game through a bit...saving it and then applying the FR install. Do you think that might work?

    Hi, finally completed a full reinstall of GTA and FR. Went through the game a bit to save it before installing FR and now the game breaks.

    Any other ideas anyone might be kind enough to help with?
