Do police need faster cars?

I will say this, I liked driving the CVPI so much I bought one from the highway patrol surplus for a daily driver, decent miles, and no holes or anything in the interior or body, and on top of that the seat isn't even worn where the gun always wears at, probably it was probably a brasses car. I love these cars and their going to be missed.

This is a signature, not a good one, but one that's needed

  • I'm an LEO and I love my CVPI. They are faster than you think, especially with the Interceptor engines in them. My agency is moving to the Charger (I probably won't be getting one for a year or so), b

lol there not gone yet :P the sheriffs office where i live just bought about twenty 2011s that we are going to start to use do to all of the complaints from deputies about the impala with it being front wheel drive and a v6 and not a v8. my personal CVPI came from a detective sergeant in delaware and is actually in very good condition, probably because he was a sergeant :P but i have noticed like i said before that its back heavy and 0-60 is a tad slow but when i jump on the interstate and accelerate from 60-90+ its very quick. i have experienced an impala myself and welll its just not my taste in vehicles. i would much rather prefer a caprice or charger but due to budget cuts those wont be happening for a long time where im at

Alot of the small town departments around here tried the Impalas a while back, but they had so many issues with them they were all sold off for used CVPIs. I like the charger for the cool factor, its a mean looking car decked out in police gear, it just looks like how a police car should look and the cockpit feels right too. That said though, I still prefer to drive the CVPI, its very fuctional and roomy, it works how a police car should. Of course if I'm given a charger you won't here me complain lol

hello

just had to write.

I think that in some countries the police may have faster cars.

but in Sweden where I live and work as a police officer so

I am completely satisfied with our Volvo V70 and XC70, and Saab 95 provide personally I think more about Volvo cars but all the same. in Sweden, I think we do not need faster cars, but who knows, maybe 5 years so we need faster cars who knows.

Thanks//danne
