Callout Suggestions

Featured Replies

Here are some very simple callouts that I think can add a lot to the mod

1 - Suspicious person: You respond to a suspicious person, he can either run, pull a gun, pull a knife or just start charging you with fists.

2 - Officer needs assistance - You back up another officer on a traffic stop, he is contact you are cover, it can either go well, or he may pull a gun and/or speed off.

3 - Man with a knife - You respond to a man with a knife, he may comply or he may charge

I think these can be implemented easily but I have never made a script for gta 5 in my life so I don't know.

What do you guys think, good ideas? or not worth it?

All three would be interesting callouts.

I think number 2 would be something very unique and would be very cool.

I'm in the same boat as you though, not sure how hard it is to create callouts like these.

A hostage situation where you try to negotiate with the perps would be cool. It would go like this:

-The player gets the call and arrives on scene. There are police cars and cops acting as a perimeter and the cops have their guns trained on the hostage takers.

-The player can try to negotiate with the takers (the speech can be subtitled if there isn't any usable audio files) and it would act like the suicidal ped situation in LCPDFR where it would be a slider and the green zone would be things to calm the perp down and convince them to release hostages while orange and red zones would fire him up and even make him kill hostages.

-The player can't enter the building the taker and hostages are in lest both the player and hostages are shot.

-The whole thing is running on a timer, and once the timer runs out, SWAT shows up and attacks. This is inadvisable to let happen, as hostages will likely die in the firefight.

-If they talk the taker down, he walks out hands up, and goes into the kneeling part of the arrest animation. The player then arrests him/her.

but idk

Domestic Dispute/Disturbance - you are dispatched to a domestic dispute between two people at a residential area (house, apartment, etc...) and it is up to you to determine who the aggressor is and arrest them. A second officer is dispatched as well due to the potentially violent nature of all domestic calls. Use witness statements and physical evidence to determine the aggressor.

Loitering and Prowling (L&P) - a concerned neighbor has noticed somone in the neighborhood that just does not belong. It is up to you to find the subject and verify the nature of their business. Some subjects may flee and some may be valid residents of the area (which commonly happens at night)

Public intox/Disturbance - Local drunk in a high pedestrian area ie..Vine wood blvd. Causing a disturbance and freaking out tourists trying to have a nice vacation. It's up to you to either find him a place to go and ride to get there in. He may be aggressive towards LEO or a peaceful annoyance. Taxi to home or squad car to jail cell let him decide.

These are just a few ideas I had for some unique and common less critical call outs commonly seen by law enforcement across the country and I'm sure around the world.

They may be difficult to accomplish but from what I have seen already from LSPDFR, G 17 and GTA 5 in general, I can see some of these coming to life in the near future.
