Draw weapon out of the holster. suggestion.

Hi Sam and the LSPDFR team,

First of all you are doing a great job on this mod. Love it.

Maybe a suggestion. When you will pick your weapon can it use the draw animation and the empty holster gear.

If you have your gun in your hand the holster is empty and when you put it away the holster is filled up with the gun.

this mod has a beginning:

I see that some ai cops use the draw weapon animation. they will put it also back in the holster.

Maybe it can be combinated with the pull gun key.

Yeah, there's definitely something we can do with this.  In testing I actually had it so that all LSPDFR AI cops would have their holster status updated accordingly, although it was a bit much in terms of overhead at that time.

I'm not so sure there's a draw from holster animation as such.  I believe in most cases the gun comes from the rear or from the left side of the waist.

There is a cross draw that is actually pretty cool https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/pull-out-strap     it's in this mod. But have it maybe integrated or something.

I did saw in an pursuit that an ai cop puts his gun away in the holster.

Next time i will watch it more.

Yeah, LSPDFR does have a holstering animation for AI cops, but we don't have the opposite, yet.  There are some that are maybe close enough to be used though.

What about the stance cops assume when you stand too close to them on story mode. They kinda rest their hand in their weapons ready to draw

Fine if you're standing still.  Not useful for much else as there's no animated movement variant.  You walk in a rather rigid pose.

Ah, I see well this is the finicky side of things... Actually it's modding, its ALL finicky. Still as code is uncovered and modders work their magic LSPDFR will shine :)

Myself and this community thank you and the team wholeheartedly for dedicating yourselves to this. The effort does show in the quality of the mods!
