The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Hello LSPDFR community,

First off, I would like to thank the developers here at G17 Media for the outstanding performance on the new LSPDFR and it's sister LCPDFR. I am very pleased with the outcome of the brand new LSPDFR BETA and I'm looking forward to new additions to the mod. My plan is to update this as I go through the mod and will update this same thread with updates of suggestions to add.

  • Better explanation of how to start the script in-game. Nevermind, you guys have the covered.
  • Some sort of .exe that will delete all of the files that LSPDFR and RAGE creates, so that it's easy to go into MP, sort of like the uninstaller for LCPDFR.

Would be better and smarter to just install the mod to a backup version of GTA V or keep your modded version separate from the unmodded.

 Unfortunately, the steam version of GTA V doesn't allow for quickly using two different folders for the game because the launcher requires steam to start. The uninstaller isn't really incase the game breaks either, the only reason i would like to see one is because i am an avid GTA Online player, so being able to quickly exchange.

There's kind of a work around for this (excuse my poor explanations) but you can keep both a modded and unmodded version in the common folder. 

Steam will recognise the folder only if it is named Grand Theft Auto V - so name the unmodified version Grand Theft Auto V 1 and the modded version Grand Theft Auto V 2. When you want to play one of them, simply remove the number after it and bam, steam will recognise whichever one you've chosen.

Yeah I thought about that afterwords, but to be realistic it would be much easier for the users to have a simple uninstall feature instead of taking up 60+ gigs to have another copy of a game to be modded.

Just don't launch the game through Ragepluginhook.exe. As long as you don't have modified files within a .rpf folder thorugh OpenIV, no mods will load online. Same with the ScriptHookV.asi

I'm not sure that I like that idea unless the DEVs say that this is okay. Any sort of modded file or added file could trigger the online cheating system, but we really don't know because none of us here run or created that system for Rockstar.

I'm not sure that I like that idea unless the DEVs say that this is okay. Any sort of modded file or added file could trigger the online cheating system, but we really don't know because none of us here run or created that system for Rockstar.

I have been online with mods in my directory and I haven't been banned nor contacted by R* because the only time you get banned is if you get reported or if the systems detects that you tampered your account settings with a foreign entity aka a trainer and or a modified ScriptHookV to activate the trainer online. Each GTA O account is a bunch of digits and logs on their side of view, so anything that is tampered by a trainer or any other mod will be detected. If it's something to troll people online like a weapon that shoots tanks, then it's obviously reported. It's like committing a crime, and if you get caught and have prior offenses and have been reported by many people, you get banned.

I actually had a few ideas for it though they may be already on track for something cant hurt for me to suggest a few things.

 

  1.  I liked the ELS system for LCPDFR, i wish there was some way to transfer that to LSPDFR. (as i said they may be woprking on this)
  2. Would like to be able to maybe spin the model im cutomizie for my officer, to see whats changeg in on various items etc etc
  3. Pull over system good but would love to actually run them in a computer like i did on LCPDFR.
  4. siren control, let me explain in the pull over system on LSPDFR u hit the key then it chirps once then u cant activate the siren until ur done with pull over. IN LCPDFR i had the ELS where i would manual siren to pull ppl over which is what the police do around here ( thought that might be in #1)
  5. some sort of repair system or police mechanic. (ik the command console thing works) i wanted to be abel to use the garage or phone or something to justc all a mechanic or have the ability to call a new car in. could be that im just more aggressive in pursuits tyhen other ppl but i would like some way to repalce the car. also probly along this same line should be able to pick up parked police cars without smashing the window to enter. (ik thats part of the game but looks better if ur a cop and can enter any cop car.

just a few sufggestions like i said they may already be working to implement some of these things in already just from my inital plythroughs whatd id liek to see :D

I've been using GTAV Mod Manager to manage mods. (https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/gtav-mod-manager) It just added support for LSPDFR, and it allows you to inject mods when you launch singleplayer but it removes them when you click multiplayer.
