The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

How do I stop the Ragehook from terminating LSPDFR when it freezes my game for a second?

  • Latest update allows plugins to block for up to 10 seconds until we add a configuration for that. Please let me know how it goes.

  • I have the same issue (as stated in the title, not about callouts or anything). I would love to know how I can fix it, kinda disappointing.

go to there site they have released a new rage hook pug in V.

Thanks for letting me know, I hope it helps. I'll download it and report if it fixes my bug or not for those facing the same problem as me.

The new ragehook does not solve the issue for me. It does make the terminations less common, but for people with slower computers like my self, the mod is still not really playable due to this issue.

For some reason I can't access that area and/or post.

I'm not sure what happened with that link, it was working. This one should though link

This is what the developer said though if the link above doesn't work.

This is an issue with LSPDFR. Plugins must respond within a reasonable time, and when they don't, they're terminated.
Please report this to the LSPDFR team so they can investigate why their plugin is causing the game to freeze.

The update for rage seems to have fixed it for me (hurray!) I was able to arrest, initiate a pursuit, and respond to a call. I didn't get to play it for too long though as I have to go out..but I'll play some more and see if it crashes anymore for me. I don't think 3 seconds is a high enough increase though, I think they should have it a little higher or at-least allow us to set it ourselves.

I updated RAGE Plugin Hook half an hour ago, please try.

This has also solved my issue, I think all that needed to be done was just update that to a higher number. But a future suggestion: Perhaps allowing, if possible, the player to set a number limit might help prevent further issues like this. Thanks for your help! Much appreciated! This topic can now officially be closed! Thanks again for updating!

If that doesn't help you try to go you GTA V directory and change amounts (PluginTimeoutThreshold) in file RagePluginHook.ini
