I would like to know where I can find an API key so I can put it into my LCPDFR.ini file, plus is there any good mods that I can download which are good and entertaining in game?

API key gen is down AFAIK. You could try to send a PM to the technical manager Cyan. No telling if he could give one to you, though.

Lund is absolutely correct about the API key. as for mods, it just depends on what you are looking for. give me an idea and i can direct you in the right spot. do you mean car mods? callout mods? disaster mods? there are tons of mods you can check out. if you wanna check them out yourself just go here http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/

keep in mind that LCPDFR is a mod itself and mods are unstable. so before you do anything make a backup copy of your GTA IV folder with the police mod. then you can start messing around with other things. add one at a time, check it out to make sure your game works correctly, then you can add another. this game can be very unforgiving if you don't go slow. it's also the baddest game in the world so glad you are here and taking a chance :D

Use the diagnostics configuration tool. That's the only way of linking your account.

Hmm, what about full police packs? police2 / police / polpat etc, I am looking everywhere but I can only find some which isn't working / or correct file
