How do I disable parked cars on the streets?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

There isn't much to say here. Is there any script, or popcycle mod which can disable all of the random parked cars on the streets? For me they take up space on the road and game memory. Any help widely appreciated.

if you use the simple native trainer located here http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-trainer-version-65-f2115 i believe you can disable cars and peds. Go to Options then click right with the arrows to take you to the second page of options. In that list there should be a Disable Cars option and Disable Peds option. i do believe it elminates all cars though so even traffic will stop spawning. i looked around and that is about all that i could find. hope it is somewhat what you were looking for :P

no problem. i have looked again today and i don't think there is anything that eliminates parked vehicles. after a few hours of searching i did find this: http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/realism-trafficpedestrian-mini-mod-f10688

from what i read it decreases number of parked cars at certain hours because people are "working" and not shopping so to speak. i have never used the mod but it looked like it might give you a little bit of what you are looking for without total elimination. give it a try and let me know how it works.

also if you ever need anything feel free to message me at any time. i like to help when i can. i did notice ya do videos but ya don't do long patrols. ya should work on that and get some more subscribers :D quality of video sometimes isnt the only thing that gets viewers. good luck.

hehe thanks but I have everything ready, I can't do long patrols because:

My specs: Intel integrated HD 3000 (64MB) VRAM 500GB eSATA drive. 6GB RAM. Intel core i5 @ 2.40 ghz Intel dust-ridden piece of pure shit cooling system. Overall framerate: 12fps. Overall gaming temperature: 87°C.

I wish I could get a new PC soon, my about section has planned specs but I might have to wait another year because of my maths result :/
Thanks for the help!!!

Just tried it, I got a instant game crash, with default vehicles D: Thank you so much for spending hours to find that mod! No-one has ever done that for me before :D

EDIT: I just forgot to plug in my readyboost memory stick, without it I can't run GTA 4 lol

hey no problem. i'll search the net for anyone if they ask. what i actually do is i have a folder of bookmarked answers to questions and such. that way if someone has a problem i can quickly find it :D also when im searching for new cars and mods and such i tend to bookmark those as well cuz ya never know :) glad ur game is running. have you thought about reducing your graphics ingame? i did that as well so my water isnt technically all "watery" but ma game runs good haha. try lowering some resolution in game and see if that helps.

also i use Game Booster 3..which basically stops any unnecessary programs from running on the computer while you are gaming. its not for everybody but right now i can game for about 2 hours with NO crashes. it takes time to figure all that out but everyone who plays this game long term eventually ends up having a pretty damn good running game!
