So i have installed ELS V8.5 and moved all the files into the correct locations, but once i launch the game and try to activate ELS, Im not getting anything. Can you guys help me?

​Seems like his ELS just wont turn on.

​Do you have other mods installed? Make sure you an asi loader installed as well as AdvancedHook, If you use LCPDFR with ELS you should be using the ones that come with the lcpdfr install and not ELS, as they may differ (seems like the lcpdfr ones work fine with ELS however). Do you have any logfiles you can post? If the game is simply not picking it up then you put something in a wrong folder or you don't have the right loaders.

 

ELS folder goes in root folder. ELS.ini and ELS.asi go in the root folder and not the ELS folder, I assume you did this. If you have any logs to post, scripthook or asi post them. try turning through lightsgaes with J in game once in a police vehicle with ELS enabled (be sure to go to slotcontrol.ini in the ELS folder and set them)

The way i have it installed is LCPDFR goes in first with the automatic installer and then i put ELS in with the correct files in the main directory. I go to launch the game and the first error i get is LCPDFR loader. loader. I dont know if that if my problem or not but ELS should still work. Instead i have only some of the light bar solid and i cant change them.

 

Also i do have a few other mods in such as: all police vehciles have been changed, LCPDFR 1.0D, ELS V8.5, Cop ped changed, and 1 weapon changed

Can you screenshot all the files in your ELS folder? I just want to check something.

​I already know your issue. You need to download the .NET and C++ Redist packages, you are missing them. Please download this and this You can try this too: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Also make sure you have your AdvancedHook and asi loader (dsound or xlive) in your root folder, if you used the auto installer they should be. After installing the things above try using ELS/LCPDFR again, make sure to download the x86 versions.

 

If all else fails, please uninstall LCPDFR and install it manually using this guide: http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/25947-how-to-manually-install-lcpdfr-10-using-the-manual-installation-package/? and make sure you have all the packages shown there. The guide is for 1.0, however be sure to download 1.1 (the newest version) and do the same thing shown in the guide, just extract all the folders to your root folder and pick an asi loader (dsound or xlive)
