There's plenty of more information in the article above, so if you want the full story, please read and watch the video. Here is a quick summary:

WFTV reviewed the surveillance tape, and found that the injured man asked for medical treatment at least 20 times over a two-hour period. The video shows the same supervisor, police Sargent Michael Faulkner, repeatedly denying the man medical attention, even as he begged and pleaded for help.

Officers taunted and laughed at Delio, as he lay immobilized on the floor. At one point, Faulkner can be seen taking a picture of the Liese, as he lays on the bare concrete floor, crying out in agony.

According to Liese, he eventually lost consciousness because of internal bleeding. He came to hours later, only after his spleen was removed during an emergency surgery.

According to WFTV, police Sargent Faulkner’s record shows that he’s been “praised for his work on excessive force investigations” conducted by the Orlando police department.

Question: What is the difference between what the officers did in this case and criminal negligence? Should the officers involved be charged?

This is great police work, I would've done the same thing. Fantastic job by the officers. They should be promoted, this isn't brutality. It's common sense.

Well then I'm glad you're not a cop. We're all safer that way.
