Economy Crash ( your city)

Featured Replies

Well, i'd like to discuss this really shitty economy (well here anyway), what your's view's on gas/ fuel prices, wages and or wage cut's?

here in Nova Scotia, i'd say it's pretty much at it's roughest point, Capital Health supposedly going on strike, Metro Transit has been on strike for almost 2 month's (average of 96,000 Nova Scotian's use the metro transit system DAILY)..

fuel prices are at it's highest in the maritimes at a whopping 137.9 a liter filling my cavalier is almost $70.00 and it doesn't even last 2 week's...

Vancouver if i recall has a recent gas spike of 18cent's per liter, to me just sound's like the government would rather line there pocket's and let the people starve then help anyone...

Hell even a box of macoroni is almost 2 dollars a box... everything is way over priced PLUS the maritimes have the 15% HST cost on top of the normal tax...

what are your thought's on this economy or the economy where you live?

Soo in germany the liter costs between 1.55

137.44p per litre of unleaded petrol

144.67p per litre of Diesel

I think I win here.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

137.44p per litre of unleaded petrol

144.67p per litre of Diesel

I think I win here.

Okay you win but in germany the petrol prices always change. Some example: Monday ----> Holy fu** but Thursday----> Hell yeah but 5 min later after 20 cars filled up...fu**ing petrol prices

Pretty sure that people everywhere are treated unfairly, iread in a article a while back the "the citisenz" of canada will greatly benefit from the 15%HST tax rate in the future" funny... i haven't benefitted from it yet, i make shit for wage, when i say shit for wage, i mean SHIT for wage.. i make $10.00 an hour, how are you supposed to live on that? i was getting good hour's at the place i'm working at now until.... an employee cut my hand open which was my dominant hand.... cut the nerves and tenden's, 10 stitches and 2 week's later i get my work week cut in half... haven't been able to catch a break since...

Not sure about the prices. Different everywhere. We're in use of the Euro, and everything is expensive here, and they all seem to find it normal.

Since many claim the Euro screwed the Economy up (guess they're right), they're thinking to get our old ''Gulden'' Back. An old way of paying we used years ago.

Though what disappoints me is that people are spending less. Well, of course they are, but It's better to spend money in these occasions, so the government can make money again and fix their money issues.

Not much impact on my city, only the gas prices. But I don't have a car yet.... so :)

Our city in the U.S. has some of the highest unemployment rates in our state, Wisconsin. Gas over here is about $3.40 a gallon. Thankfully, I haven't gone through the "job, house, car, adult" transformation yet, so I don't see the worst effects of the recession. Stocks have been going up for a while, and I think the worst is over, and light is in sight.

@Supper, i really hope the light is in sight cause pretty sure i don't wanna live in the "Dirty 30's" era as i'm sure most of your grandparent's have, i wouldn't so much mind prices for anything going up if the cost of living either stayed the same or went lower, the only place in canada that actually show how much money they have is Alberta BUT that is also where everyone from out here in the maritimes go when they want a good paying job unless your HRP,EHS,HRFD,there are so many people out here that are "gaga" about making money, so they start a roofing company but there's no money in that either as there are so many on the go, i should have stayed in Manitoba..

I live in Flint MI, which used to be the GM center of the world....gave birth to the UAW, and all that.......but GM has completely moved out. If you want to know about the economic plight that has been in this city, watch the movie "Roger and Me"
