When we're finally able to edit the game files...

Recommended Posts

The first thing I wanna do is increase the amount of random ped's being robbed happen more frequently. I hope it's an easy edit in a .dat file. It would keep me preoccupied until we see a playable LSPDFR mod. Since Alexander Blade released his SNT, I've been having a blast! The prison guard outfit is pretty bad ass. A few little edits and you'll have a K9 officer ped pretty soon! Pic below.

I don't know much about scripting or reverse engineering (I'll improve that :-) ) but i guess that is a huge step forward to customize GTA V.

"Some say that the outline of his left nipple is exactly the same shape as the Nurburgring, and if you give him a really important job to do, he’ll skive off and play croquet."

Since the game came out I have been working on breaking down the files and getting a understanding of how Rockstar constructed them. Happily today with ScriptHookV I can say I am a step closer at being able to test some things out. So hopefully I will have time to go into the programming lab at my college and work on something in peace since I don't get much of it at home.

I will say that this game definitely has more potential then GTA IV ever offered us.

However we do have a huge hill in front of our journey because things are just not the same anymore with the files. Rockstar changed the file formats to a lot of things but there are things that we are still familiar with which is great, so my buddies from the modding community are going to reverse engineer this game as much as we can and hopefully come out with some amazing stuff.

Another thing is once Open IV/V gets its updates in order I can test out replacing some files and editing some files to see what it does.

God this is great news. It was just yesterday that a friend of mine told me that the future of LSPDFR was pretty nil with the file structuring and that it was grim to have what we had in IV.

I know we are still a ways off, but I am glad to see people still motivated to break the code so-to-speak, I appreciate everyone's efforts what you do is way over my head and I am so appreciative of all the work you guys do.
