Try this.

Open up "visualsettings.dat" scroll down to "# Other emissive lights" and change "car.defaultlight.emissive.on" to 10.00.

Now change "car.defaultlight.emissive.off" to 0.05.

thank you so much for responding.
with "car.default light.emissive.on" to 10.00 did not work, put it to 90.00 and is fine.
one last thing, the colors such as red looks more orange, even the blue is different how can I change this?

THANKS

Can you show a screenshot?

here is the screen, for example, blue is Heavenly, and the red is orange.

Also what model are you using?

what? as a vehicle?

I have the same colors with all car models.

Try changing "car.defaultlight.emissive.off" to 20.00

If that doesn't work try higher, if that doesn't work switch it back to 5.

I don't know then. Perhaps it's just the vehicle.

The reason it appears orange is because of the specific texture that's mapped to the lightbar proper. You can change it to be more red in your image editor of choice, however be aware that if you go too far with the texture (i.e. making it a red box) it may look unrealistic on the lightbar with your emissive.on value that low.
