DROT Changing colour?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I downloaded Kinsta's LAPD classic vehicles and I tried to edit the Aerodynic lightbar into NYPD style. But I qot one problem with the rotators. I don't know how to change the colour of them because they stay white. I changed some colours in the .wtd but nothing worked.

Here is a picture of what I mean. The three rotators on each side stay white...

Did you try to change the colors of the emissive lights with something more colored? Like using the blue and red from BxBugs LCPD cars.

I don't know what you mean, I looked in Bxbugs files but I could not see how he changed the colour. In Kinksta's there is only one file who colours the lightbar.

The two textures to change are the ones in the middle on top, the two red ones. And if you think they are too "white" (as in, they seem to flash white in game), use the textures of another car, like BxBugs' cars. The lights are more coloured. http://gyazo.com/7f58b700808fb9b9a597edc393d09b13

You also have to scale them properly. The blank left around the textures you replaced shouldn't be there.

Thanks, it worked and it looks really good!
