Hi everyone.

 

I'm having a little problem with the ELS:
When I leave my car with the lights flashing, I can only go a certain distance before the lights stops flashing. When I get back in the car I have to turn them on again.

Does anybody know what this is?

I've tried to remove and install ELS again, and it worked a little while, but suddenly the problem came back.

i beleive its in your game settings on distance grapfic settings i think

Do you mind colloaborate a little? I find it a little strange, not editing none of the graphic-settings, and all of a sudden this problem occurs...

Go to your ELS.ini and crank up Els_Range_Pl. If that does not work, crank up Els_Range_Ai.

Know that increasing those values can exponentially increase the risk of GTA IV crashing.

Hi, I've tried that now, but problem is still there.

It also has started changing ELS-patterns when ever I step out of the car and move a little...

Started changing ELS patterns? Would your car happen to be very damaged? ELS will randomly cause lights to not show when a car is damaged, to give the appearance that it is malfunctioning.

Nope, car is fresh out of the garage. I have no issues with the ELS at the beginning when I play, but after 3-5 minutes the problem begins.

In your vehicle's config file, would you happen to have ExpressModeRandPat set to on, by any chance?

I re-installed LCPDFR 1d and downloaded ELS V8 (rather than using the ELS V8 i had saved as a backup on my computer) and everything seems to working like normal, for now.

I'll get back to you if the problem still occurs! Thanks
