This is my error code from my computer. I am running: windows 8.1 64bit 16 gb ram, 7 core hp envy. I ham usiing else 8 lcpdfr new hot fix update, and the sussex police texture pack and the vehicles that you need to use the textures with. I have been having this problem for a long time. and the games crashes about 20 mins into playing the game, and i dont know why. If anyboady can help that would great as i don't know enought about how this games operates to be able to sort this out. Thanks for any assistance in this . Kind regards adam knightley.

Hi, could you please post the contents of the following files, preferably on pastebin or something to decrease the size of this page:

LCPDFR.log - Which should be in your root GTA folder

ScriptHook.log - ^

ScriptHookDotNet.log - ^

 

Also, navigate to your LCPDFR folder, which should be "Your GTA folder" -> "LCPDFR"

Then, open the LCPDFR Diagnostics Tool.exe and post the log here.

EDIT: I'm sorry, I didn't read your whole post.

Lots of car mods along with the Emergency Lighting System tend to crash the game after a while, nothing you can really do about it than to remove the car mods.

The PC port of GTA IV was poorly made and it is not really stable even without mods.

Not sure, but I think it's when the game fails to load something, e.g a high-poly modded vehicle and that does something to the memory and crashes the game.

I also have no clue as to how gaming clans do it, I think it depends on your computer...

Gaming clans edit their videos to remove the crashes from public view, because no one wants to see the crashes.

 

Reinstall your game and add in the mods one by one. 

i see well that explains something so there is no way of getting this game to work with out unistalling it, and starting from scratch?

and secondaly my police uniform and some vehicles are not dispalying the textures in the game do you know why that is.?
