lcpdfr has encountered an error!

Featured Replies

Yo! i may have a problem with lcpdfr after i start my gameplay it shows me lcpdfr has encountered an error thing!

i may need help here!

i tried this solutions

  • Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks
  • Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues
  • Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
  • Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
  • Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
  • Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • Install these: .Net Framework 4.5Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012

but it won't work any other ideas?

Sorry for my english! (i'm new here)

OK since there are no logs we can only help so much right now.

So let's start with the easiest of solutions that I know of. Disable your virus protection and re install lcpdfr. Some virus protection blocks certain parts of lcpdfr from being installed.

Also make sure you are running the game using the launchgtaiv.exe file in the GTA IV folder and not using the actual icon that was installed on the desktop

If this helps please let us know. Good luck

when you re install lcpdfr you will need to re install the mods that were in the lcdpfr plugin folder unless you had a back up copy of your folders.

Once we get you fixed make a back up copy of your game. That way in case something crazy happens you have a good copy in storage.
