I am still liking the changes, such as the auto approval system now. Before, it was disconcerting refreshing the Downloads page, and still seeing the same downloads you saw three (or more) days ago. Now there are usually two or more new downloads, when I refresh the page in the morning, and again in the afternoon.

Hello everyone,

The one month trial for the new approval system has ended. I haven't received any significant complaints from either my staff members or members of the community, and I dare say it has gone pretty well. I'd like to thank everyone who has been reporting files, as it has helped tremendously. While we have gotten a random "WTF is this" submission here and there (yes that is the official term for them) they have been very few and far between.

I believe almost everyone will be glad to hear that we are keeping the new system. We may make minor tweaks to when the new member approval period ends (currently it's several days) but those changes won't be very significant.

Again, thanks to everyone who has helped to report any invalid submissions and I do hope you continue to do so, as it brings them to our attention way quicker than we could see them ourselves.

Not in particular, the author still has to define what type of vehicle they are posting in the title and description/credits. But the downloads section isn't sorted that way, either.
