I Want to Use RealityIV 2.0, But...

Featured Replies

...You knew what I was going to say. ELS looks terrible. At night there are environmental lights around the car, but otherwise the lights themselves look like they're barely on.

No, turning car.defaultlight.emissive.on up to 10,000 doesn't work, either. Why does this happen, and how else can I fix it?

If you're going to say "use Sgt.Kanyo's Realistic Timecycle," this one runs better (and I prefer it).

Thanks.

Non-ELS ftw

The Timecycle isn't ment to be used with ELS.

Obviously. I'm trying to find out what part of it affects ELS so I could possibly make it work.

Copy and paste sgt.kanyo's timecyc over the reality iv timecycles

Use a different ENB, I use game4video's enb and my lights look just fine.

RealityIV is not an ENB, it's just a timecyc, so overwritting with another one wouldn't work for the OP since he wants this graphic mod in particular and not another one.

That is the one thing I don't like about it. I am running it in my game, and it looks gorgeous, apart from that one thing.

Cheers.

Well I found one similar to RealityIV that's pretty good, also for everyone who came here because they had the same problem: http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/timecyc--road-textures-f23847

it has nothing to do with visual settings its in the timecycle you have to use editiv or some other program and change the bloom settings in the timecycle file

I was going to do that, but EditIV refused to open it.

I was going to do that, but EditIV refused to open it.

It has something to do with the 'Intensity Bloom' value in the file. Furthermore I have tried opening it with EditIV as well, but the file appears to be locked.

Cheers.

Same, I was going to use it but it made the ELS look like a pile of rubbish. What if we copied the original bloom settings into the file using notepad? I'm pretty sure we can open it with notepad as an admin.

Sure you can open it and do whatever, but it's true that you might need to unlock it (Right-click > Properties > □ Read Only). I would like to know if you could make that work, actually.
