Is there any mod out there (besides "Strobe Mod") that can disable ELS on ELS enabled vehicles. I want the original red or blue lights to flash when hitting the horn button. 

 

Any advice would be great.

Unless you have the unlocked file, the know-how to do so and the tools to do so, not without speaking with the mod-author.

• If you want to make a ELS model Non-ELS, then you need to replace the light bar of the vehicle with a non-els light bar.  To do so, you must have an application that can edit .wtf files and an unlocked model.
• If you want ELS to have the same mechanics as the default siren, you can hit Ctrl+Bkspace to enable "express mode."  What this does is sounds the siren and lights just by pressing the siren button, and changes the siren tone when the button is held down (just like default)
• If you want to disable ELS altogether on a particular vehicle, you can open SLOTCONTROL.ini in the ELS folder, and configure which vehicles have ELS.

 

Thanks for the reply and suggestions guys. I'll try and find an application to replace the lightbar. There are really just a few els cars that I want to enable as non els. Until then, I'll just wait for more non els cars to be released.
