windows 7 i heard is now unsupported and 10 will eventually come out i figured i let anyone know i was upset yesterday when my friend told me since both computers at home that i have are windows 7........

What do you mean unsupported? As in they don't receive updates anymore?

I highly doubt that, do you have a source?

Hi Guppy :D Microsoft will be supporting Windows 7 until January 14, 2020. So you have no worries what so ever

This is why I stick with MS-DOS and just turn all my favourite upcoming games into DOOM .wads

 

You don't run into any problems like this.

Windows XP and older no longer get security updates. Windows Vista and 7 will still be getting security updates.

Microsoft will have official support for years to come, but third party developers will stop developing and optimizing for the Windows 7 platform, and move on to more modern software and hardware. 

 

In the end, it's the creators of programs who you should pay attention to, not Microsoft.
