So... If I'm understanding this correctly, you've found a way to add, not replace, fully functional police patrols and taken it a step further by implementing police motorcycles instead of a car? If that's the case, does that mean I'd be able to add an unmarked police car and have them patrol the city with cops inside using the same method?

That's one (1) method out of three (3) that I'm working on. Each method or modification group has its positives and negatives about them... I'm just deciding/testing which one has more balance.

So by this same sort of method with patrol groups could you have police bikes escorting a limo around the city randomly?

Or the same thing but with pstockades for prisoner transport?

As of now, mostly patrolling certain areas... and some highways.

For those who are wondering... this mod isn't going that well, especially if you're an LCPDFR fan. LCPDFR doesn't respond well to certain changes being made within the cargrp.dat file. Example being; if I was to relocate police and police2 (hell, any of them) vehicle from # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS over to another popcycle group... the LCPDFR callout/backup request will not work (i.e. assistance or transport needed). However, I will push on and find another route...

Ah Nutt I need some hints on how to add additional vehicles that are recognised as police (sirens/computers) :( Do they just have to specifically be named police3/4/b?

Also do you happen to know of any way for ELS to activate on vehicles in a custom/extra vehicles.ide

edit: may have just figured it out, but I'm still interested in how you managed to get specific peds to spawn in specific vehicles.

EDIT2: I can add cars with functioning sirens and functioning ELS but can't open the LCPD or the LCPDFR computer in them, is that able to be overcome?

Yeah I found that they had to be called police3/police4/policeb for ELS to recognise them, right on the money.
