So as many of you know GTA V is to be released for PC on the 27th(ish). The question is how soon after the release does everyone think it'll be till we get a LCPDFR type of mod? Not throwing speculation out there just a general question as to how long you think it'll take till a mod comes out for it. I know a lot of modders are looking forward to it coming out on PC. So what are your thoughts?

I think this has been discussed a lot before on here, but as always the simple answer is: no one knows how long it could really take.  Sam has said that the LCPD:FR team is excited for modding in GTA V and are eager to proceed with a new version i.e. LSPD:FR.  It's just a matter of time until they are able to begin progressively modding it. Until the game is released on PC there can't really be a definitive answer on how long LSPD:FR will take to develop. Believe me I'm just as excited for it's release/future mods as you are! With all the speculation (and perhaps adding some here) I would be super impressed if a version was released within the new year, one could hope!

I would say at least until June ish. But like Holli said we don't know.

Yeah i know itll be no time at all till a trainer is released for it. and with the trainer itself you can do so much. An getting a role play clan started for that is already in the works with members of my clan. so i can't wait for it regarldess

 

Man, imagine if GTA V on PC had mod support. Just dragging a zip into a mods folder. That would be fantastic.

All gaming communities love "drag-n-drop" mod folders, but we are probably not getting one, because R* don't support mods after what happened with SA and the "Hot Coffee" mod.
