My GTA Crashes either in game or after i spawn

Featured Replies

Hey, Sometimes when i start gta i spawn in as usual and then it start to say loading and it tries to redict me to my old session. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. And when i am in game it crashes randomly.

And in multiplayer it crashes often for both me and my friend. That normal fatal error shit you know? And i have everything on lastest update etc so that can´t be the problem.

Then i have another little question. When i was gonna reinstall my gta(steam) nothing in my gta map got removed, everything was still there like trainer lcpdfr and other stuff. Because i wanted to reinstall and have like a fresh game so i would install lcpdfr and make a backup before that so i can have a copy where i have all my modded cars installed. And the original is with my lcpdfr and els.

I have maybe forgotten something little but anyway please help :)

Thanks

For your first problem, delete savegame.fr in your main GTA Directory. Also turn off autosaving in the LCPDFR.ini or configuration, under General Settings #2

As for your second if I understand correctly, LCPDFR isn't saving your old game data such as cars/scripts. That's steam. Delete your GTAIV folder out of common/Grand theft auto IV, then delete local content in steam and reinstall. It should install a clean fresh copy, sometimes it takes two tries as it happened to me before.
