LCPDFR 1.0d Automatic Installer archive appears to be broken

Featured Replies

As per the title I've tried downloading the automatic installer and the alternative one, however everytime I try to open them it tells me the archive might be damaged or is of an unknown format. I use WinRAR to open archives, this isn't so much a request for support thread but more of a just letting you know thread. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year :)

It's not only the Automatic Installer, it's both.

It's because your AntiVirus "blacklists" them as virus, and blocks them from being extracted.

All that you have to do is turn off your AntiVirus/whitelist the files so you can install the LCPDFR. I disabled mine, and enabled it after I was done installing LCPDFR.

I had such problem, but after turning off antivirus (Avast) it worked! However, it shows a Win32 Dropper-Gen virus in LCPDFR configuration tool.exe I don't know why it's happening!

I saw this solution in a similar post, you were both right once I disabled Avast it let me open the archive and use the installer. Thank you very much for your help guys =)
