does alt p change your graphics to get sharper or blurrier it does when i press it multiple times it changes it back and forth 

It's not "alt+p", it's just "p". It does add definition, which is pretty much blur.

Yeah as Grant said it changes the definition, if you go on-duty with ALT-P and it goes blury press "P" will remove it for ya'.
