Incompatible with %p?

Featured Replies

Alright guys, So i just got my cybertron PC up and running. Partitioned my hard drive and started to install gta 4 so I can start doing some LCPDFR. Well, after installing net frame and what, I attempted to download the actual game. Right at the beginning a screen with nikko pops up saying that my system in incompatible with %P.. ummmm not sure what that is honestly and I have searched and can't find anything about it for windows 8.1. I have beyong the preffered specs for the game obviously but I am running Windows 8.1 and not Vista or anything. Does that have anything to do with that? Is it fixible? Guys let me know please, a lot of you have helped me before. Thanks in advance.

I got that as well when I first installed GTA IV.

I had to right click on the disc drive, and click Open, and then go to the GTAIV folder, right click on the setup application, go to the Compatibility tab, and selected Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).

I'm running Windows 8, but I assume it should be the same
