DUAL graphics card HELP? ***

Featured Replies

Sorry for yet ANOTHER pc help post but I'm still new to owning a gaming laptop.

My computer came with Dual Nvidia GeForce 860m (2x2gb)

I was expecting that i'd have two graphics cards working at once for high performance and 4gb of video memory. When I checked to see if I could run COD AW it told me I have 2gb of Video ram instead of the recommended 4gb, Do I need to enable it or can someone explain DUAL graphics cards?

Thanks,

Happy Holidays!

Best of luck!

My setup right now looks just like the vids with the red text but I don't loose textures or get city bug, had to install TrafficFlow to get rid of Taxis everywhere (Taxi Bug)

So it's all working? (if so) Then enjoy man, have fun playing GTAIV until V comes out.

FYI: Many video games aren't properly configured to make use of two graphics cards, GTA IV being one of them. Other sh*tty PC port titles such as Call of Duty may indeed have similar problems detecting a dual GPU setup, especially on a laptop since you aren't running your average graphics, CPU or motherboard setup. Mobile chipsets often aren't supported at all by video game developers.

Yeah it does, I did turn on SLI ( Which enables them both to run and I see about 4-5fps difference in GTA IV since it isn't supported, 91fps in cod ghosts and advanced warfare.
