How Scent Brought A Deployed Father Closer To Home

Featured Replies

"Watch as we bring a military dad closer to home using the power of scent. For 11 months, Kearen’s been away from his wife and kids in North Carolina. So we partnered with his family to create a special gift to make him feel at home even while he’s away."

This has got to be the most sentimental commercial video I've seen yet.

This was a wonderful story, hopefully the soldier comes back home safe and sound to his family. :)

I can also connect with this commercial. Me growing up in a military family, I can understand what this family is going through. My father got back from deployment only about a year ago. He isn't the same man since he left.

Wish I had a father. Both my mother and father died when I was about 12 years old. :(

I'm sorry to hear that man. If you ever need to talk or anything, I'm willing :). Of course I'm just some random dude over the internet, but still I'll listen and such =).

That's why I'm glad I'm not in a service that deploys for a year; that shit changes you...

Mad respect, and God's blessing to those who do, though.

Getting ready to join the Army, though I have extreme respect for the Marine Corps. I'm joining the Army over the Marine Corps for several reasons, most of them very personal.
