Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the lcpdfr (alternative) is? And what's the difference between the regular lcpdfr download?

Nothing. Its the same thing. If one dont work then try the alternative... So theres always a download!

If you mean the installer labeled "alternative," the it's described underneath the downloads:

New Installer

LCPDFR 1.0b introduces a new installer built on the NSIS and OpenCandy framework.

The OpenCandy software is present in the automatic installation package for those of you that wish to support the continued development of LCPDFR. The OpenCandy module shows at maximum one ad and only during the installation. LCPDFR itself does not contain OpenCandy and does not show any ads. OpenCandy is advertising application. It is similar to Google AdSense, except it displays advertisements in installation program instead on a website. These advertisements promote another software package.

The new installer also introduces support for 32bit systems. The alternative installer provided is a duplicate of the primary version - but without the OpenCandy software.
