So I ran into this issue a lot of times and never got it fixed.

Anyways I am using CryENB v3 and as you can see the right lightbar looks plain and not bright like the second image below and it should look like in how ELS was presented. I don't know how to fix this issue.

(Sorry for not capturing a perfect image)

This is how ELS should look :

Settings are all set to medium and shadows off.

The sliders are set to 50.

Thanks.

Refer to the tutorial I made on how to do this: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-make-your-els-lights-brighter-r61

But set your settings at 250! Not 100!

Thanks for replying,

For the settings do you mean in the immersivelights for 250?

Yes, set it to 250. That's the best settings for CryENB in my opinion.

Done. Thanks for your help, I should of asked about this ages ago lol.

Anyways I will try it out later and see how it goes!

Thanks again :D

Hey so I tested it out and turns out there was no change at all.

I have saved the file and tried it again; still no change.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Woah. It should've worked. Did you make sure to edit "car.defaultlight.emissive.on"?

Yep, I checked everything and tried to change 250 to 1000, but after that the lights still look the same. No area flash or bright lights. :(

I really wanted it to look like in bayareabuggs videos. :/

I'm not sure what the issue is. Did you change it while in-game? Did it tell you you couldn't save it in your directory so you saved it somewhere else?

Nope I haven't changed it while in game. And it didn't tell me that since all permissions were set by me. I re-opened the file and checked if the numbers were correct etc.

As you're using TBoGT, you need to edit the file in TBoGTcommondata.

Yes I have TBOGT. O.o I guess that makes sense >.<

Thanks I'll see if that works.

Well, I don't know. Did you put in the ELS Preset from CryENB?

Yes I have added that in and I added in motion blur I'll see if any of that makes a difference.

LOL That would have been helpful to know.ight

Right lol :P Sorry should've stated it clearly at the start.

LOL That would have been helpful to know.

Good news ELS works like a charm!

Thanks for helping! :D

And also (Sorry for bugging again) but how do I get the area flash and the headlights to flash also?

I had exactly the same problem this morning, until I remembered the DLCs have their own files. I noticed your pink HUD and imagined it would be the same reason.

Headlight flash is part of ELS 8's vehicle config, the area flash is enabled by default but not that bright during day. Check its documentation, it's all explained there.

Well, I just typed an entire thing on how to enable the corona flashers. But LCPDFR decided to check my browser.

To enable Corona flashers, what you do it go to the folder called "ELS" in your directory, and look for the ELS config you are using. So let's say you're using "Default_Config", you would open "defualt_Config", and look for:

[ CORONAS ]
Headlights = off, 0
Taillights = off, 2
IndicatorsF = off, 0
IndicatorsB = off, 0
Reverselights = off, 0

And to get headlight wig-wags, change "Headlight = off" to "Headlight = on". You can do that for the headlights, taillights, reverse lights, and front and back indicators. The 0 represents the pattern you want, there is a video of all of the patterns, found here.
