I don't understand the problem. I successfully installed the mod, and played it with no crashing. Although I noticed that I had to configure my Pursuit key to something like E or ~. I went into the .ini file to do some editing, and instead of having None I put ~. Thats when the game crashed. I opened it, got through the main menu, but at the characters, and then loading screen... it crashed. When I try to make the diagnostic tool open the log, the diagnostic tool crashes. I guess the only thing to do is to re-install, but I think that's unnecessary. Yes I looked at other threads. Yes I checked my .dll's.

Reinstalling didnt even work! Now my game wont even start! This ruined my game!! STILL NO HELP!

hmm. well i have never changed my pursuit key. i can't use the ` key either to join a pursuit. i have to press Y when they ask if i wanna join. and I push Alt E to tell the rest of the cops when i have a pursuit i am on. go back to the way you were playing when it wasnt crashing and see if any of those keys i suggested work for you.

Before reinstalling the game, make sure to delete the entire GTA IV directory. Simply uninstalling will not remove everything if you have added mods. If you have issues with LCPDFR, be sure to post in the LCPDFR Support section because you will be shown a troubleshooter with the most common issues.

 

Also, no one is entitled to support. Saying things like "STILL NO HELP" will probably make it less likely that you will get help.

I did that and it still is not working. I do not understand the problem. This game is so finicky. All I did was change the pursuit bind!

I see what you mean. I guess I was confused between a call out and a pursuit.
