Police bike pullover?

Featured Replies

Hello, im new here and i wanted to ask you guys about something.

I found this amazing cop bike from a lot of searching and i been trying to get it to work with pullover, but, no matter what i do the bike will not let me use the "shift" to pull over cars in trafic.

I tryed to change the key in "LCPDFR CONFIGURATION SETTINGS", but, that does nothing :(

I done everything that is on this page '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>and it still wont let me.

I have also looked at '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>and my ELS is working 100% on the bike, so thats a good thing.

I thought i would ask you guys since you have more knowledge about this LCPDFR mod :) And maybe you even had this before and knows what to do.

Here is a link for the bike, if that does help more. http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/nypd-police-bike-f10614

It drives me crazy and thats because i can step off the bike and go into a cop car and hit the shift key and it works, but not on bike :/

I have reinstalled GTA4 5 times this weekend and changed those handling and vehicle files for so many times now, that i think of the numbers when i sleep.

Is there someone kind enough to help me out?

Thank you for reading this.

Arnox.

(sorry for my English, it's not my native language.)

Unless you're using EFLC, I don't think the bike pullover action is available.  You could try putting the bike in a police/noose/FIB slot, change the vehicle.ide and handling lines to that of the police bike...that would probably work...but I don't think putting the bike in a regular bike slot would allow the LCPDFR functions to work.

I used EFLC exclusively for LCPDFR but recently switched to GTAIV, as it's more stable with mods for some reason.  The police bike does work just fine with EFLC, it's slot is policeb.wft and policeb.wtd.

EDIT:  Also, I don't think you can change key bindings for LCPDFR, I've tried in the past and it never recognizes my key bindings.

Good luck!

Okey, so if i buy the EFLC and run that, then the pullover will work 100%?

Could you confirm that, i really like to know before i spend extra money.

Yes, I have both EFLC and GTAIV - you can use the police bike to pull over cars, there is a police bike in EFLC by default...not so with GTAIV.

I used EFLC for my LCPDFR modding until last week, when I switched over to GTAIV as it's more stable (but requires more computer HP to run smooth).  EFLC has a police bike slot (policeb.wtd and wft), more cop car slot in general (there is police3 and police4 slots), more civi cars and peds.  Been modding EFLC for years now...it's a bit of a different game environment with more peds and cars in-game.

How?

[Main]
AdditionalCopCarModels=
SuspectTransporterModels=POLICE;POLICE2;PSTOCKADE;
VehicleTrunkWeapons=Shotgun_Baretta;
AllTextMode=False
AmbientScenariosMaximum=2
AmbientScenariosMultiplier=250
DepartmentName=Liberty City Police Department
DepartmentShortName=LCPD
FirstStart=False
UsingPoliceStationMod=False
PreloadAllModels=True

In the AdditionalCopCarModels=? Just add name on the bike?

EFLC is worth the purchase...you get more peds, more cars, more police cars, better optimized (better FPS), etc.  If you can afford the $5-$9, get it...don't jack up GTAIV with that policeb slot.

I moved to modding GTAIV instead since adding CryENB and HD textures, EFLC was just crashing more than it use to (which was almost never).  Without the ENB (just a nice TimeCycle) EFLC runs fine, but I purchased a new gaming rig last week, so I want to make use of ENBs and HD textures, which is without issue modding GTAIV.

Good luck!
