Say that you want me to organize a NYSP car pack. I research the cars that the NYSP use the most and I take the models and skins and put them into a car pack for you. (Of course I would include credits)

There are numerous tutorials on here, Google, YouTube and various other sites on how to do it. I understand he may only want to help but if someone wants to learn all they have to do is ask. For most authors, compiling their work with others into packs is forbidden and quite honestly frowned upon. It isn't that hard to collect a few (for example) NYPD cars into a pack for yourself and put it into the game.

A Boston PD pack or a Madison WI pack would also be cool! Neat idea!

Wouldn't be frowned upon if he just linked him to all of the cars. Instead of reuploading and redistributing.

He's just trying to help. Maybe someone wants a car pack of Non-ELS LCPD cars but there isn't a pack or doesn't know how to organize cars themselves. I think this guy is doing a nice thing to the newer members of the community or people who are lazy as fuck, like me. Except, I'm too lazy to do anything, so I give up and run vanilla.

Regarding the topic at hand, we can't condone what you're offering.  We can't stop you from creating packs containing other people's works and sharing them in private manners, but we won't allow these packs to be shared on the forum or via the download manager.  If you want to provide some links to where the authors uploaded the vehicles, that's fine, but redistributing work without permission (even if credits are applied) is not permissible.  I'm also moving this thread to GTA IV Discussion & Media, because the Vehicle Modifications Showroom forum is only for authors to share their WIP and/or released projects.

Iconography, I am providing links to where the authors uploaded their vehicles. Is that ok? I hope it is as I am not very good at this credit stuff :)

Oh my god, are you idiots not reading the other posts? He's NOT making models. He's simply taking released models and skins and making packs out of those models/textures for users.
