Gaming PC: Under 2000 Canadian dollars (help)

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'm going to be building a gaming pc here soon and I would like some suggestions.

Because I don't now that much about the hardware aspect of computers. Like I said in the title, maximum price would be 2000$ (Canadian).

Windows 7 is a necessary, other than that nothing else. Also it should be able to run Gta 5.

Any help would be appreciated.

p.s. If it could be built on pcpartpicker that would be great :)

Just bought a gaming rig and monitor from Newegg.  I paid about $600 for a iBuypower AMD FX-8320 8core (3.5 gb), 2gb GeForce750, 400w Power Supply, 8-USB ports, 8Gig Ram, 1TB SATAII HD; and this thing is fast.  Decent price.  Paid another $250 for a HP 25" IPS LCD, 1950 (?)x1080.  Excellent monitor with great reviews.

With a nice set of Rosewill headphones (they rumble) and 7.1 5-pc speaker (don't recall the brand - it's being shipped separately), extended warranties, overnight delivery, I paid $1050.

I have ARMA3 maxed out and getting 40-50FPS and just installed LCPDFR with CryENB, ELS8, HD textures, maxed out graphics (density at 51, distance views at 60ish) and running in the 40ish range as well.

Nice thing about Newegg, I paid for 1-day delivery at 9am Thursday and everything (minus the speakers) arrived Friday at 3pm.

Merry Christmas to ME!

Good day!
