Norton considers LCPDFR a trojan

Featured Replies

I don't have log files to provide.  I downloaded LCPD:FR 1.0 and tried extracting it only to be stopped by Norton anti-virus stating that it's a Trojan.  Anyone else have similar experiences?  I tried finding an answer online with no luck, so my apologies if I missed something and this thread already exists on the support forums.  Any help will be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Well the only suggestion I'll throw in is get rid of Norton. it's terrible, there's so many more anti-viruses you can download and Norton has to be one of the worse, It's hypersensitive and thinks everything is a virus. It's also a pain in the ass to rid of, Uninstalling still leaves stuff behind.

I recommend avast or something paid (ilke BitDefender)

Otherwise if you really somehow think it's correct, Just try to add a rule (if norton allows that) for the file/Autoinstaller if your using it.

One of the automatic installers has some kind of ad thingy that some anti-virus programs mark as a virus. You can either tell Norton to ignore, download the other automatic installer or download the manual install.
