That just means your not actually clicking the thing you want to attach, your clicking nothing I believe. Make it easier for yourself and make everything invisible except the stuff you want to attach and then do it.

thanks all the help I will try it now and let you know how it goes

unfortunately I did not work but I attached them without any errors but I put the attached lights in to the chassis just how I would normally because I did not know what to do once finished attaching them but in game I still ended up with the same problem only the beacon flashes

beacon is the main light I want to attach the grill lights to and it is the red circular light on the roof of the Silverado in the bottom right sector in the images

 

Make sure your lights files are under chassis-L2

Make another screenshot with misc_d and grill lights opened up so we can see the L0s and etc. Also I would just put the grill lights into misc_d and then put misc_d under the chassis_L2 just to make it easier

I attached them all together correctly put grill lights in with misc_d then misc_d in the chassis below chassis_L2 BUT STILL DID NOT WORK
