Game crashes after about 10 min of playing LCPDFR

Featured Replies

This has been going on for a couple days but now its starting to get annoying. I can play the game for hours and hours using other script mods but the game crashes after 10 minutes of playing lcpdfr. The screen just goes black and says "Grand theft auto Iv has stopped working", it doesnt say an error or something. Ive already looked at some forums but that didnt really help. Ive tried using xlive less, a fresh install of the entire game, both manual and automatic install of lcpdfr 1.0c, everything.

Info:

Steam version of Gta iv (1.0.7.0) and eflc (1.1.2.0, but i dont use eflc for lcpdfr)

Directx 9

.Net framework 4.5

Microsoft visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012

Mods installed:

Newest scripthook and advanced scripthook

Simple native trainer

Lcpdfr 1.0c

Els v8

Double Doppler ENB

Snow mod

Vdh police helper, towing and mett corner

Police cars, peds, and sirens

Tlad shotgun and baton

Recorded gun sounds

Other info:

Ive already uninstalled 0.95

I use the game on high settings

Game runs about 50-60 fps

I usually type in on the scripthook "reloadscripts" whenever i start the game

I sometimes use the "forceduty" command or i just start the script the regular way

I run the launcher and the game as admin

Usually says in the log "502 bad gateway", "Authentication: Failed to authenticate"

It seems that your issue is the same one that I had, and so have several other people. Its a crash in GTA itself and not in LCPD:FR. I seem to have solved this issue recently as i just played LCPD:FR for over an hour before anything crashed.

1: Go into your GTA directory and right click on the common folder, and untick read-only.

2: Do the same thing to both the scripts folder and the entire pc folder.

3: Success.

Also, there is no need to command reloadscripts right when you enter the game. This serves no purpose other than to reload a script which has crashed.
