THE GAME CRASHES WF "SMP" THEN I RESTARTED N CANNOT CONDUCT TRAFFIC STOP, THE CAR PULLED OVER BUT AS I WALKED NEXT TO THE DRIVER NOTHING HAPPENS. ALSO, I RESPONDED TO 2 OR 3 CALLOUT AND THEY NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

Check through the support threads in my signature and make sure you have the correct files first of all.

Make sure you have followed and understand this thread: and take any vehicles out of your parking spaces then save the game.

Then attempt (just for now at least) to install some low poly car mods instead of the ones you have or restore the default ones. Some good low-poly, non-ELS cars are these:

sry abt the uppercase thing but certin keys on my keyboard (capslock,"a","1" etc) are kind of funky, i hv to keep the capslock light on to know they r functioning properly

There's your problem. Perhaps try reinstalling the mod but make, before you do so, that all the files and folders inside gtaivcommondata are not read-only

Do this by right clicking on the data folder > properties > untick read only.

And do the same thing for files and folders inside the data folder.

Then run the lcpd:fr installer again and see if it works.

The one that is available at link #1 in my signature (if you want RC2-Update2 (rc2r2)). Just run the exe and it should install as per usual, but before you install it make you sure do you what I said about making those files and folders so they are not read only.

If you are using rc2-r2 press alt T to activate and then alt T to draw the taser.

Please read the download documentation before asking further questions as the use of the taser is referred to in the first section of that page.

im using chevy suburban as the "fbi" car, is it possible to add a new car (FCV or dodge charger) as "fbi2" in the vehicle.img file?? also is it ok to change the els in the FR mod??

No, you can't add cars to the game, only replace existing ones. GTA IV checks the vehicle.img file by counting the number of cars in it. If the number is different from default, the game won't load. And what do you mean by "change the ELS"? Regarding what you said earlier about playing the game fine with car mods; LCPD:FR uses police cars, AI police pedestrians and call outs far more than a default install of GTA IV would. And random callout police cars are left ditched by the police officers themselves if you're not in the immediate area looking at the AI car itself waiting for the cop to get back in. It saturates the game with too many high polygon count models that eventually overload the game engine and crash it.

ELS is not part of First Response. You can replace what you want, it just may make you crash more. I don't like ELS V6's stability.
