HELP: Can't get golf cart to work...

Featured Replies

Hmm. I'm really not certain that would work for noose, atleast with my understanding of the games file system (with police-cars atleast, I never modded civ/other cars)

If you did most likely the cops legs would stick through the ground, but like I said I'm not sure.

How are you installing the car, Automatic installer or manually?

I recommend either using "Grand Theft Auto Vehicle Mod Installer (Newest version)" or OpenIV (manual) to mod the car. If you use the automatic installer try either whatever slot the golfcart uses (For testing) or the noose car you want to replace, pop ingame and see if it works (Make sure you have it set to rebuild on exit and the ELS box checked)

If you use Open/SparkIV, manually replace the two files in vehicles.img. My concern is, if it's a golf cart the files wouldnt be any of the police vehicles. (police, police2, pstockade, etc) so you might need to rename the files. If it still crashes with both methods (Make sure you have a backup of your clean vehicles.img) then contact the creator of the car model, and verify that it works for police cars as well.

Having PreLoadAllModels on may fix it as well, It's fixed some car related crashes for me before.
