ZModeler Export Error.

Featured Replies

Not sure if i am posting in the correct section so feel free to move the topic if i posted in the wrong section.

Anyways, I have a problem when exporting my car from zmodeler. When i export the car i get the following error.

ZModeler is ready.
Object "police2.wft" was not found. Whole scene will be exported.
Error collecting export data. file:GTAIVExport.cpp line:94
Part multiple instances of LOD:1 of part "extra_1" found. file:GTAIVExport.cpp line:382

I don't really know how to explain but i have two lightbars installed on my car so here is my hierarchy, I am sorry if this is not very clear but i need to fix this error. Reason being is after i finish parts on my car i like to export and test it ingame.

Edit: If you need any more pictures of my hierarchy let me know, and i will be glad to get them for you.

You can't multiples of the same names like that. So you have more than one extra_2 and extra_2_L0 and so on. So you can either rename the other extra_#_L0s like extra_3_L0 and then extra_3_b. Or you can just attach all the ones you want to light up as extra_1,2,3,4,5, an so on.

Look at this tutorial: https://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/vehicle-modification-tutorial/attaching-extras-in-zmodeler-r96

Thanks. This is my first shot at modeling so i wasn't quite sure. I decided to delete the lightbar in the back window and just go with the one on top. I am going to bookmark the tutorial link so i can use it for future references.

It's actually really simple. Have only the extras you want to attach checked, then, using the attach tool, point and click to attach the same extras (extra_1_L0 -> extra_1_L0, extra_2_L0 -> extra_2_L0, etc). This will make it so there is only one extra_#_L0.

Ok instead of making a new topic i'll just post it here. So i got my talon dashlights to work but for some reason the wheels of my charger are really offset adn the car is way higher than it needs to be. Do either of you know why?
